2006 Fountain 29 Sportfish Cruiser

The 2006 Fountain 29 Sportfish Cruiser is a stepped-hull design built on a fiberglass hull. Powered by a Mercury Racing 525 EFI engine with an upgraded valve train, the boat delivers strong performance for both offshore fishing and lake cruising. The engine benefits from a CCP dual-stage sea pump with stainless strainer and water pickup, along with CCP Hurricane Lite headers and tailpipes fitted with above-water turndown tips.

Navigation and fish-finding are handled by two large chartplotters and fishfinders that can run simultaneously. Steering is managed through a Latham dual-ram stainless system with K-Planes trim tabs for responsive handling. A Fireboy automatic fire suppression system provides onboard safety.

The boat comes with a 2022 Venture aluminum triple-axle trailer equipped with new Kodiak brakes, making towing straightforward. The stepped-hull design contributes to fuel economy and the ability to operate effectively in offshore conditions while remaining nimble in lighter water.
