This 2006 Fountaine Pajot Belize 43 is a 42.65-foot sailing catamaran built from fiberglass with a beam of nearly 23 feet. The yacht is powered by two Volvo Penta D2-40 diesel engines producing 80 horsepower combined, paired with Volvo saildrive transmissions. The engines were rebuilt to zero hours in October 2023 and currently show 500 operating hours since that work.
The catamaran sleeps up to 12 across four double cabins and two single cabins, with four full bathrooms. Tank capacity includes 300 liters of fuel, 600 liters of fresh water, and distributed black water tanks. The electrical system runs on 12V and 220V with 900 amp-hours of service batteries plus dedicated engine batteries, supported by a 30-amp charger and four solar panels. A 1,300-watt inverter provides shore power compatibility, and the boat carries multiple bilge pumps and pressure systems throughout.
Sail plan comprises a full-batten mainsail, furling genoa, and two spare genoas plus a spare mainsail. Deck equipment includes six Harken winches, a 25-kilogram Rocna anchor with 60 meters of stainless steel chain, and a secondary Fortress anchor. Navigation features three Raymarine GPS chartplotters networked via NMEA 2000, plus radar, AIS, autopilot, depth sounder, wind instruments, and an Icom VHF with DSC capability and portable backup. Starlink internet with mobile antenna is installed.
Onboard comfort includes air conditioning, a galley oven, two refrigerator-freezers, and cabin ventilation via five Hella units. Power outlets and USB access are available in each cabin. A 2.8-meter fiberglass tender with 4-horsepower outboard is included, along with full safety equipment: a SOLAS B life raft, ten inflatable lifejackets with harnesses, lifebuoys, man-overboard systems, and six fire extinguishers.
