The Grand Banks 59 Aleutian RP is a substantial motor yacht built on a fiberglass hull with twin MAN 800 hp diesel engines and electronic shift and throttle controls. The yacht cruises at 14 knots with a fuel economy of nearly 1 nautical mile per gallon and reaches a maximum speed of 23 knots. Power generation is handled by a 21.5 kVA and 9 kVA Onan generators. The boat features an expansive flybridge and Portuguese bridge, along with ABT-TRAC hydraulic stabilizers and proportional bow and stern thrusters for enhanced handling.
Accommodation includes three staterooms—two full staterooms and one office/stateroom—along with two heads. The galley on the flybridge includes a refrigerator, sink, and grill, while the main galley below features a Miele dishwasher, upgraded refrigeration and freezer, Bosch washer and separate dryer, and a Spectra watermaker. Climate control is provided by three 24,000 BTU air conditioning units and one 16,000 BTU unit, plus a Kabola 65,000 BTU diesel heater.
Additional equipment includes a 13-foot AB tender with a 60 hp Yamaha outboard, a 1,000-pound stainless steel hydraulic crane and tender davit, and a swim platform with stainless steel safety staples. Two Glendinning Cablemasters are installed for mooring line management. The boat measures 59 feet in length with an 18-foot beam.
