2006 Grand Soleil 50

This 2006 Grand Soleil 50 is a fiberglass sailing yacht from Cantiere del Pardo, measuring nearly 49 feet with a 15-foot beam. Powered by a single 75 hp diesel engine, she combines the responsive handling and performance of the class with comfortable cruising capability. The yacht features three cabins and two heads.

Between 2023 and 2026, the boat underwent extensive renewal. The hull received a professional repaint in Awlgrip Majestic Blue, the coach roof and deck fittings were refinished, and the rig received major professional service. The Volvo Penta MD75 engine was completely rebuilt in 2024, with new engine mounts and upgraded insulation installed in the engine room. Water systems were renewed, the cockpit teak was refurbished, and mechanical systems throughout were upgraded.

The sail inventory includes modern carbon sails comparable to North 3Di technology, with a 2022 mainsail and genoa, plus a new genoa from 2026. The rig is balanced and equipped with electric Harken winches and a serviced configuration. The yacht also features a folding propeller and Judel/Vrolijk hull design suited to both performance sailing and manageable short-handed cruising.
