2006 Hallberg-Rassy 48 MK

This 2006 Hallberg-Rassy 48 MK is a fiberglass sailing yacht built to cruise long distances with reliability and comfort. At just under 50 feet, the boat carries classic Nordic design paired with serious offshore capability. Power comes from a Volvo Penta D3-110 diesel engine rated at 110 horsepower, with approximately 1,700 hours recorded. A Paguro 6500 generator provides 6 kilowatts of electrical capacity. The yacht cruises at 9 knots and features a shaft-drive transmission, electric bow thruster, and dual propellers including a spare.

The interior is finished throughout in solid mahogany in the traditional Hallberg-Rassy style. Three cabins accommodate crew or family: the aft owner's cabin has two single beds and an ensuite with electric head and shower; the forward cabin features a V-berth layout, private head, and integrated Candy washing machine; and a guest cabin with bunk beds completes the sleeping arrangements. The salon has opposing settees and good natural light, while the galley is fully equipped with electric refrigerator, separate freezer, and seawater foot pump. Hot water is provided by a calorifier and immersion heater, with showers both inside and externally.

Navigation and deck systems reflect serious cruising intent: Raymarine electronics including the E120 multifunction display with internal and external screens, ST7001 autopilot, and ST60 wind and depth station. Two VHF radios are installed, one in the cockpit. Selden hydraulic boom and jib furlers, electric winches, and a three-blade variable-pitch Gori propeller plus spare complete the propulsion picture. Deck hardware includes a Besenzoni hydraulic passerelle and Navtec A-370 aft deckstay tensioner. The teak deck remains in excellent condition and the cockpit has full weather protection with bimini and cover. Fuel capacity is 900 liters and freshwater tankage reaches 1,000 liters. The boat has been maintained meticulously throughout its life and operated only for private cruising.
