The Hanse 531e is a 56-foot composite sailing yacht with a lead bulb keel drawing 2.80 metres. Built in epoxy, the hull presents in good condition and has been privately maintained by its second owner. The boat is powered by a Yanmar 100 hp diesel engine with 1,900 hours of regular service, achieving a cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum speed of 10 knots. A retractable bow thruster is fitted for manoeuvrability.
The layout comprises three cabins plus a forward crew cabin, with three heads. The teak cockpit and deck form the basis for an extensive leisure setup: an expansive bimini with additional awnings, a teak table, electric winches, cockpit cushions, and a stern sundeck. Below, the dinette hosts two refrigerators alongside other facilities. A tender garage with electric opening door houses a 3.2-metre Zodiac tender powered by a 15 hp Honda outboard fitted with a fibreglass keel.
The boat is fully equipped for offshore sailing and cruising. The sail plan includes a full-batten mainsail, furling genoa, gennaker with sock, and a code zero in Kevlar—all from 2013 and made from Kevlar and Mylar taffeta. Two Lewmar electric winches handle sail operations. Electronics are comprehensive Simrad systems throughout: autopilot, dual wind instruments, multifunction display, and NSE8 plotter in the cockpit. Power systems include a Mastervolt 8 kW generator, 1,500-watt inverter, and new batteries installed in 2023. A Baitek watermaker produces 100 litres per hour. An 80-metre stainless steel anchor chain with folding bow roller and a hydraulic backstay adjuster complete the specification. The boat holds Class A certification.
