2006 Hatteras 50 Convertible

This 2006 Hatteras 50 Convertible is a fiberglass sport fishing boat powered by twin Caterpillar C18 diesel engines producing 2030 horsepower. The yacht features an oversized cockpit with tournament-style helm station designed for straightforward operation. Topside, a 3-sided flybridge enclosure provides weather protection and entertaining space.

Below deck, three staterooms offer comfortable accommodations. The master cabin sits amidship with an ensuite head, while the VIP stateroom forward has a centerline queen berth. A guest stateroom to port contains upper and lower berths. A second head serves the guest areas. The galley is designed with a low profile and substantial storage, and a full laundry center is installed below. Cherry wood with high-gloss finish lines the interior throughout.

A comprehensive refit has been completed in recent years. Electronics upgrades from 2024 include three 22-foot Garmin 8622 chartplotters, a Garmin 72 NM XHD2 radar, and new Starlink and KVH satellite systems. New Dometic reverse-cycle air conditioning units were installed in 2023. Battery banks and charger were replaced in 2021, along with new flatscreen televisions, a Fusion sound system for the flybridge, and refreshed non-skid surfacing. Galley and head finishes were updated with granite and marble countertops in 2020. Fresh bottom paint, hull-side waxing, and balanced and tuned propellers were completed in 2026. The engines have 22,500 hours and are maintained to current service standards.
