2006 Hatteras 68 Convertible

A 68-foot Hatteras convertible built for serious offshore fishing and comfortable cruising. Twin Caterpillar C-32A engines rated at 3,600 horsepower deliver speeds to 32 knots, with a cruising speed of 26 knots. The hull is solid fiberglass, and the yacht has seen a comprehensive refresh including new exterior paint, full ceramic coating, and updated Garmin electronics with Starlink connectivity.

The interior offers four staterooms with four ensuite heads, arranged in a notably comfortable layout. The master stateroom features a full-beam king berth, the VIP cabin holds an island queen, and there are over-under bunks and side-by-side berths elsewhere. The salon includes a wet bar, a distinctive feature in this class.

Recent work includes an overhaul of both main engines and gearboxes—the Caterpillars have logged 300 hours since rebuild. The generator has been serviced, the air-conditioning system cleaned and recharged, and the fire safety system updated with new extinguishers. The bottom received a fresh coat of paint, new zincs, and Propspeed treatment. Additional updates include replacement bilge pumps, rebuilt freshwater pumps, a new coaming bolster, and a fresh audio amplifier. Interior and exterior soft goods throughout have been renewed.
