2006 Hatteras 68 Convertible

This 2006 Hatteras 68 Convertible is a fiberglass enclosed-bridge yacht built for serious fishing and extended cruising. Twin Caterpillar diesel engines producing 3,600 horsepower drive the boat, which measures 68 feet in length with a 21.58-foot beam. Recent engine service included aftercooler and heat exchanger work on both powerplants.

The yacht accommodates four staterooms and four heads. The full-beam master stateroom and expansive salon take full advantage of the wide 21.5-foot beam, offering generous living space throughout the interior. The cockpit and working areas are equally substantial, with a large fighting chair, bait freezers, bait trays, and dedicated tackle center. Rod storage includes eight gunnel holders, six additional cockpit stations, and eight flybridge rocket launchers.

Fishing capability is extensive. The boat features a full tower with center ladder, upgraded Zero Speed Stabilization fins, live bait well, twin fish boxes, tuna door, Eskimo ice chipper, triple spreader riggers and center rigger, 4 underwater lights, hydraulic bow thruster, and a watermaker for extended range. In 2020 the yacht received a full paint job, new teak decks, and Zero Speed Fins were installed. The boat is ready for operation in either fishing or cruising mode.
