2006 Island Packet 440

The 2006 Island Packet 440 is a 45-foot auxiliary cutter designed for serious cruising. Her fiberglass hull with full keel delivers the stability and seagoing ability the design is known for. Power comes from a 75 hp Yammer diesel engine, driving her at a cruising speed of 6.3 knots with a maximum speed of 7.6 knots. A Side Power bow thruster is fitted for maneuvering.

Below deck, the interior offers two staterooms and two heads, arranged for comfort during extended passages. The layout reflects Island Packet's philosophy of practical, livable cruising accommodations suited to both weekend getaways and longer voyages.

All running rigging was replaced in 2022. The boat carries an extensive collection of cruising guides and chart books. A storage locker ashore holds additional equipment and gear that accompany the yacht.
