2006 J Boats J/92S

The J/92S is a 30-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built on the proven J/92 platform, which earned Sailing World Magazine's Boat-of-the-Year recognition. The design has been refined with a redesigned cockpit, deck, keel, rudder, and sail plan optimized for both family cruising and racing performance. Over 170 boats in this family have been built across Europe and North America.

The boat features a retractable carbon bow sprit for flying a masthead asymmetrical spinnaker, keeping downwind handling simple and controlled. The hull offers improved stability and cockpit comfort compared to the original J/92, making it well-suited for short-handed sailing and family use. A single 13 hp Yanmar diesel engine provides auxiliary power.

The J/92S is designed as a manageable, versatile mid-range cruiser with week-ending accommodations and an inboard auxiliary, offering the performance and ease of ownership expected from the J Boats lineage.
