This 2006 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49 Deck Saloon is a 48-foot cruising yacht built with comfort and ease of handling in mind. She carries a sloop rig with fully battened mainsail, lazy bag and jacks, furling genoa, spinnaker or cruising chute, and an unused storm jib. The standing rigging was renewed in 2023. Power comes from a 110 hp Yanmar diesel engine paired with a Gori propeller and rope cutter, supplemented by a bow thruster for precise maneuvering. An Onan generator with just 110 hours of running time provides onboard power, while a complete Raymarine navigation package was updated in 2024.
The interior spans three cabins and two heads across a well-planned layout. The forward owner's cabin features an island double berth, dedicated desk, substantial storage, and an en-suite bathroom. Two guest cabins aft share a second head. The saloon is bright and open, with a large U-shaped settee, dinette, and two additional chairs to starboard. To port lies a navigation station with a washing machine tucked beneath the navigator's seat, and to starboard a practical U-shaped galley completes the main deck arrangement.
