2006 Lazzara 68 Motoryacht

The 2006 Lazzara 68 is a fiberglass motoryacht built for cruising the shallow waters of South Florida and the Bahamas. Twin CAT diesel engines producing 2,000 horsepower drive the yacht, which draws just 4 feet 2 inches—shallow enough for the region's most demanding anchorages. The hull benefits from TRAC stabilization to manage sea conditions underway.

The layout comprises four staterooms and five heads, plus a day head on deck. The main saloon features OLED television and surround sound speakers, with updated furnishings and soft goods throughout. The galley includes modern appliances and a Perlick wine fridge. All stateroom mattresses are custom units. The flybridge includes helm seating and non-skid surfaces, as does the bow. Synthetic teak finishes the cockpit, bridge stairs, and swim platform.

The current owners have completed an extensive refit affecting nearly every system aboard. The CAT engines received 1,000-hour service with new heat exchangers and aftercoolers; the TRAC stabilizer was rebuilt with new pumps, tanks, and hydraulic connections. A new 13.5-kilowatt Onan generator supplements the serviced 27.5-kilowatt unit. Bow and stern thrusters were replaced with joystick controls. The water maker, hydraulic steering ram, AC systems, and fire suppression system were all rebuilt or upgraded. New batteries, battery chargers, and backup battery power were installed throughout. The superstructure was prepped and painted with marine finish, while the engine room received fresh paint and detailing.

Navigation and monitoring systems include a Garmin chartplotter with Navionics, VHF, autopilot, HD radar, and sonar, plus XM HD weather radar and Starlink marine wifi. Digital engine displays link via NEMA 2000 at the helm. Eight underwater Lumitec lights and LED exterior lighting were added. The hull received a bottom haul with barrier coat and fresh bottom paint, new cutlass bearings, and conditioned props.
