2006 Maxi Dolphin Cross Current 33

The Maxi Dolphin Cross Current 33 is a performance daysailer built on a vacuum-bagged epoxy sandwich hull that balances strength, stiffness, and lightweight construction. At 33 feet with a 10.5-foot beam, the design emphasizes straightforward handling and responsive sailing characteristics. The carbon fiber mast and EZ V "Y" boom combine with upgraded Hyde carbon mainsail and Technora jib to deliver capable performance across a range of sailing conditions, with an approximate PHRF rating of 66.

The yacht accommodates two berths below and is manageable single-handed, double-handed, or with a full crew. A 21 hp Yanmar diesel engine provides auxiliary power, supported by an autopilot for extended single-handed sailing. The layout suits day sailing, local racing, and light coastal cruising.

The boat has been maintained by its original owner throughout its life and received new bottom paint in January 2025. The rig and sails were upgraded in 2015 with carbon and Technora materials, contributing to its current performance capability.
