2006 McKee Craft Freedom 28 FS/CC

The 2006 McKee Craft Freedom 28 FS/CC is a center console built on a deep-V fiberglass hull with heavy foam-filled construction designed for offshore durability and seaworthiness. Twin Suzuki DF-300 engines provide 600 horsepower. The boat rides with a 22–24° deadrise and carries approximately 260 gallons of fuel, supporting extended range for serious anglers. A 52-gallon livewell rounds out the fishing capability.

The helm station features dual Garmin chartplotter displays (9 and 12 inches), a Garmin GMR 18 HD3 radar, VHF radio, Ritchie compass, digital gauges, and JL Audio sound. The forward seating is removable and not glassed in, allowing flexible use of the bow area. A self-bailing cockpit and generous offshore freeboard complete the practical design for open-water conditions.

The twin Suzuki engines have only 187 hours of use. The fuel tank has received a fresh pressure test. Dry weight is approximately 5,600 pounds, and draft runs around 18 inches. The fiberglass layup is built for durability and the hull design incorporates unsinkable principles similar to those found in Boston Whalers.
