The Monterey 270 Cruiser is a 29-foot fiberglass cruiser built around a single 350-horsepower Mercury gasoline engine, capable of 40 knots at top speed and cruising comfortably at 27 knots. The boat features European styling paired with a generous cockpit layout. The transom includes a fold-away bench seat and door providing direct access to an integrated swim platform. A wetbar runs along the port side, and a removable cooler sits nearby. SeaDeck non-slip surfacing covers the main cockpit, swim platform, and cabin sole for safety and durability.
Below deck, the 270 offers full standing headroom throughout. The main cabin centers on a U-shaped dinette that converts into a double berth with storage beneath. Forward, a V-berth includes a removable table. The aft cabin holds another double berth. The enclosed head features full headroom, a marine toilet, shower, vanity with sink, and shower fixtures. Climate control includes cabin air conditioning and heating, supported by a hot-water heater.
The boat has received substantial mechanical and systems work completed in 2025: a new Mercury Bravo 3 outdrive, new stainless steel six-blade propeller, fuel pump replacement, new ignition components and spark plugs, and a full engine tune-up. Canvas and isinglass have also been replaced with new camper-back styling. Two electric bilge pumps handle water management. A trailer is included with the sale.
