2006 Monterey 298SC Super Sport

The 2006 Monterey 298SC Super Sport is a 29-foot express cruiser built on a deep-V fiberglass hull. Twin Volvo gasoline engines producing 640 horsepower deliver a cruising speed of 30 knots with a top speed of 38 knots. The boat features a closed-bow design with a forward-raked radar arch, and is equipped with trim tabs, Garmin GPS, and Livorsi-style helm controls.

The expansive cockpit is designed for entertaining, with a chaise lounge opposite the helm station, sun pad on the stern, bow seating pads, and a refreshment center with sink. A walk-through windshield provides helm visibility, and a flip-up seat permits stand-up driving. The stern includes a shower and recessed boarding ladder on the extended swimming platform.

Below deck, the cabin offers substantial headroom with a convertible V-berth forward, a compact mid-cabin sleeping area beneath the cockpit, full galley with cherry wood cabinets, convertible dinette, and a fully enclosed head with shower. Engine access is readily available throughout the cabin area.

The boat includes a Bimini top with Isinglass enclosure, port-side stern entry, and comes with a triple-axle trailer. The engines and drives have been serviced and maintained current.
