2006 Morris 36

This 2006 Morris 36 is a Sparkman & Stephens design built for accessible sailing, including single-handed operation. The composite hull carries full teak decks and a varnished teak deckhouse, sea hood, and cockpit cladding. The boat was repainted in Morris Green with a white boot stripe and gold cove accent in 2020. A Yanmar diesel saildrive with a Flex-A-Fold bronze propeller provides propulsion, with 824 engine hours on the clock.

The interior follows Herreshoff styling with white bulkheads and varnished mahogany trim throughout. The forward cabin features a V-berth with an open bulkhead design, complemented by a day head and galley area. The sole is laid in teak and holly, and the interior hull sheathing is mahogany. The boat has been lightly used and well maintained over two ownership histories.

The sail plan includes North Sails manufactured in 2014, currently in serviceable condition. The 36-foot design and 10-foot beam proportion the yacht for balance and seaworthiness across varied conditions.
