2006 Najad 440 CC

The Najad 440 is a solidly built sailing yacht with excellent seaworthiness and strong sailing performance. At 44 feet in length with a 13-foot beam, the hull is fiberglass construction powered by a 75-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine.

Below deck, the layout provides comfortable cruising accommodations with two cabins, each featuring double berths and en suite bathrooms. The saloon has two sofas that sleep an additional two people. A longitudinal galley and well-positioned navigation station complete the interior.

The boat is extensively equipped for cruising and has been continuously updated. The sail plan includes in-mast furling mainsail, electric furling genoa, and manual furling jib, all from 2018 onwards. Power systems comprise a Volvo D2-75 engine replaced in 2019, a bow thruster added in 2021, diesel generator, electric genoa winches, and both forward and aft electric windlasses. A three-blade folding propeller was installed in 2018. Additional features include a sprayhood and cockpit tent from 2018, plotter upgraded in 2024, liferaft from 2024, and isolation transformer. The hull received copper coat antifouling in 2019. A 28-inch television is also aboard.

The boat has been professionally maintained throughout its ownership and continues to be well cared for.
