The 2006 Nauticat 331 is a 34-foot cruising sailboat built in fiberglass with proven seakeeping qualities. Powered by a Yanmar 4JH4TE diesel engine of 75 horsepower, the boat is equipped with a bow thruster and carries a 75 square-metre asymmetric spinnaker on a Selden GX15 stacker. The mainsail is on a furling system, the jib on a Furlex 200S roller, and both have been serviced recently — the mainsail revised in 2024 and the jib revised in 2020 with a new UV strip.
The interior layout includes a forward cabin, aft cabin, and a shared head with shower. The saloon features varnished timber flooring and carpet, with a convertible dinette table. The cockpit and helm feature teak furniture and protective canvas. A Lofrans 1000W electric windlass with helm station control is installed alongside a single wheel steering with leather grip and a second wheel for the helm post. Navigation is supported by Raymarine electronics: an ST 60 system with cockpit and helm station repeaters, a C120 GPS chartplotter, radar with dome, and an AIS receiver. VHF and autopilot are aboard, along with a television and DVD player in the saloon.
Recent maintenance and upgrades include: replacement of the windlass motor and service batteries (2 × 160 Ah AGM) in 2020, a Webasto Air Top Evo 5500 heater with burner and glow plug replacement in 2021, an electric toilet also installed in 2021, a retractable spinnaker boom and Selden stacker in 2021, cockpit awning and protective covers in 2022, and a helm station awning in 2023. The boat carries dual 12-volt refrigeration units, pressurised hot and cold water, a three-burner stove with oven, solar panels, and a six-person Seasafe liferaft from 2014. A Bombard AX3 tender with an electric Temo outboard from 2020 is included.
