2006 Ranger 2400 Bay Ranger

The 2406 Ranger 2400 Bay Ranger is a 24-foot sportfish designed for performance across shallow and deeper water. Powered by a single 250-horsepower Mercury engine, the boat delivers responsive acceleration and a smooth, dry ride. The hull is fiberglass construction with an 8.42-foot beam, built around a bay boat philosophy that prioritizes shallow-water capability and fishing functionality.

The helm features Sea Star Pro hydraulic steering with solid state digital instrumentation, including speed, tachometer, fuel, trim, and water pressure gauges. Livewells and baitwells are integral to the design, with recirculating wells positioned forward and aft, a high-speed pickup, in-line filter, and an available baitwell built into the leaning post. The open cockpit layout prioritizes fishing access with rod organizers, console-mounted rod racks, and abundant storage throughout.

Comfort and functionality are balanced with a full-sized fold-down bench seat, trim tabs for ride control, interior lighting, and an efficient overall layout. The boat is rigged as an all-purpose fishing platform that works in both backcountry shallows and open water.
