2006 Sea Ray 48 Sundancer

A 2006 Sea Ray 48 Sundancer powered by twin Cummins diesel engines producing 1,080 horsepower combined. The boat reaches 34 knots at top speed and cruises comfortably at 28 knots. Twin bow and stern thrusters—a Vetus 14HP bow unit and an Imtra 230SE stern thruster—offer precise docking control, complemented by joystick helm control with wireless remote capability. The V-drive shaft system provides reliable propulsion without the maintenance demands of pod drives.

The hardtop includes two large sunroof hatches and an electric windshield vent system for ventilation and sightlines. The helm features dual 18-inch Garmin 8600 touch screens with radar and an updated Mercury SmartCraft system. A 13.5 kW Onan generator supplies onboard power. Five LCD televisions and three Garmin GC200 marine security cameras are installed throughout, and entertainment systems are integrated with the cameras.

Below deck, accommodations include an aft stateroom with two 7-foot single bunks and a twin bed, plus two heads. The salon has upgraded carpet and runners installed within the past year, and the cockpit seating and vinyl were reupholstered in 2022. A 24,000 BTU air conditioning unit manages climate control. The salon air conditioning unit is scheduled for replacement in 2024. Two canvas covers are included—a full OEM-style canvas and a tinted drop canvas.

Recent work includes replacement of the cockpit platform and floor completed in June 2026. The engine room shows extensive maintenance: replacement turbos, injectors, air cleaners, raw and fresh water lines, pumps, cooling system service, new oil extractor and holding tank components, and a full 1,000-hour service completion. Routine maintenance has been performed every three months with regular oil, filter, and fuel filter changes, zinc replacement every three months, and full generator servicing every 30 hours.
