This 2006 Skagit Orca is a 27-foot fiberglass sportfish designed for serious fishing in Alaska waters. The boat was repowered in 2020 with twin Yamaha engines producing 310 horsepower combined, currently showing only 1,155 hours. Twin engines deliver a cruising speed of 30 knots and a maximum speed of 40 knots.
The fishing package is comprehensive. A Lone Star anchor drum winch with 1,000 feet of spectra line was installed in 2023. The boat is equipped with a Garmin autopilot featuring Bluetooth remote control, Ray Marine Axiom GPS and fishfinder with 3D and bottom mapping capability, and four electric Scotty downriggers. A 9.9-horsepower Yamaha high-thrust trolling motor with rear steering provides precise boat control. The fish box holds 2,000 pounds and sits in the floor, while the fuel tank holds 120 gallons.
Accommodations include a V-berth, full bathroom, and a captain's chair. Two additional bench seats provide seating. A new windshield and washdown pump were recently added. The boat receives regular salt-away flushing after each use and has been maintained through a Yamaha dealer. The hull is prepped and ready for bottom paint application.
