2006 Tiara Yachts 2900 Open Classic

The 2006 Tiara 2900 Open Classic is a 29-foot express cruiser built on a modified deep-V hull with a wide 11-foot beam. Twin Crusader 6.0L MPI inboard engines, each rated at 375 horsepower, power the boat with just 610 engine hours logged. The design balances offshore capability with a versatile layout suited to both coastal cruising and fishing, featuring a spacious self-bailing cockpit with wide coaming bolsters, walk-through transom door, and a hardtop with rod holders and spreader lights. Wide side decks with stainless rails and a swim platform with ladder ensure safe movement around the boat.

Below, the cabin sleeps four with a forward double berth, convertible dinette, and full galley. The enclosed head includes a shower with hot and cold water, and cabin headroom reaches approximately 6 feet 2 inches. Galley amenities include a single-burner electric cooktop, microwave, refrigerator-freezer combination, and stainless sink with pressure hot and cold water service.

Recent mechanical work completed in July and August 2024 included new heat exchangers, PSS shaft seals, full engine service with new plugs and fluids, bottom paint and zincs, new hoses and clamps, and shaft removal and servicing. The electrical system features twin house and cranking batteries installed in 2023–2024, a 410-watt solar panel with Victron SmartSolar charger, 30-amp shore power connection, and high-output alternator. Navigation and monitoring equipment includes Raymarine C120 chartplotter and sounder, VHF radio, trim tabs, and instrument gauges. Climate control and comfort systems include heat and air conditioning with a 6-gallon hot water heater.
