The 2006 Tiara Yachts 4200 Open is a 42-foot sportfish built on a fiberglass hull with hand-laid construction and balsa core in the deck and hullsides. Twin Cummins 670 diesel engines power the boat and have 1,100 hours of operation.
The open layout provides generous cockpit space suited to both fishing and entertaining. An upper cockpit wet bar includes a sink, cutting board, refrigerator, and insulated cooler. The foredeck is equipped with an automatic rope and chain anchor windlass operable from a foot pedal and remote helm switch. Four 10-inch spring line cleats and two 6-inch fender cleats secure the boat when docked.
Navigation and electronics are comprehensive: dual Garmin 8616xsv screens, Garmin Phantom Open Array radar, and autopilot. The boat also carries a water maker and bait freezer. A custom composite windshield with tempered safety glass features power-opening center section and three wiper systems. The electrical system runs on 12V DC and 120V/240V AC with a 50-amp battery charger and dual-bank gel cell batteries.
