The 2006 Wally 45 is a high-performance tender built on a carbon-reinforced PVC sandwich hull, measuring 44 feet with a 14-foot beam. Twin Mercury diesel engines produce 700 hp combined, paired with new Bravo III XR drives and Duoprop propellers, delivering a top speed of 50 knots. A bow thruster provides responsive maneuvering in tight quarters. The boat underwent a complete refit in 2024, including new electrical systems, hydraulic circuits, fire safety equipment, and water systems. New teak covers the foredeck, rubbing strakes, and swim platform.
The single cabin features a double berth with an integrated head and electric toilet. Two refrigerators are accessible from the deck. A Lewmar electric windlass with 50 meters of chain, a deck shower, solar shade, and sun loungers support comfortable extended use. The boat carries a 12V-to-220V converter, independent battery chargers, and updated automatic bilge pumps throughout its electrical infrastructure.
Navigation and entertainment electronics were installed in 2024 and comprise a Simrad multifunction touchscreen display, GPS, AIS, depth sounder, speed log, autopilot, compass, and VHF radio. A Sony audio system with amplifier and four deck speakers rounds out onboard amenities. The combination of its iconic design, modern systems, and recently refurbished components makes this tender suited equally as a superyacht tender or dedicated day-cruiser.
