The Aventura 36 Space is a 2007 fiberglass catamaran with a beam of nearly 20 feet, powered by twin 42-horsepower Nanni diesel engines driving sail-drives. The boat carries a shortened 12-meter mast with an extended boom and mainsail of approximately 45 square meters, suited to cruising under sail and power.
The layout provides three cabins for accommodation. The catamaran's wide beam and dual-hull design offer the stability and interior volume typical of the Space platform.
In early 2025, the boat underwent comprehensive servicing and refurbishment. The hull and deck were cleaned, polished, and treated with fresh anti-fouling. Teak surfaces were sanded and oiled; the wooden toe rail was replaced with plastic. Interior and exterior wooden elements were sanded and re-lacquered. Both sail-drives received complete rebuilds, engine zincs were replaced, and new button panels were installed. The headsail and genoa received new UV strips, new bow nets were fitted, and solar panel fans were added. New cockpit cushions were sewn, and silicone seams were refreshed.
