2007 Beneteau 49

The 2007 Beneteau 49 is a 49-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat powered by a 110 hp Yammer diesel engine. Built to Cruising World's Boat of the Year standards, the design combines naval architecture by Berret Racoupeau with Italian interior styling by Nauta Yachts. The boat features a clean foredeck, arched cabin top, and spacious cockpit with twin helms and walk-through transom. Below decks, moabi hardwood cabinetry is paired with light fabrics and paneling to create bright, airy accommodations throughout.

The yacht sleeps six across three staterooms and includes three heads. The saloon centers on a well-equipped navigation station and includes a pop-up flat-screen television. The boat sails readily in light air—achieving roughly 6 knots close-hauled and just under 7 knots on a reach in 8 knots of breeze—and cruises comfortably at 8 knots with a top speed of 11 knots.

Recent upgrades include a new Strataglass dodger and bimini with connector, a 2025 Ullman main sail, and a rebuilt genoa. New running lines were installed in 2025. The boat is outfitted with electric winches, a bow thruster, stainless steel davits, and a dinghy with outboard. An offshore electronics package, 2024 batteries, and air conditioning are aboard. A generator is present but currently inoperable and requires service or replacement.
