The Beneteau Swift Trawler 42 is a 44-foot trawler built on a semi-planing fiberglass hull designed for stable, economical cruising in offshore conditions. Powered by twin Volvo Penta D6-310 diesel engines producing 620 horsepower combined, it reaches a top speed of 27 knots and cruises efficiently at 18 knots. Bow and stern thrusters with electronic controls enhance manoeuvrability in tight spaces. The boat carries CE Category B certification for offshore use.

The interior layout maximizes comfort across two decks. The main saloon features a large U-shaped sofa and dining table, with the galley fully equipped with a three-burner gas stove, gas oven, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. Two cabins below provide sleeping accommodation—a master cabin with a double bed and a guest cabin also with a double bed. The remodeled bathroom includes a toilet, sink, and shower. A flybridge adds a secondary helm station and seating area with panoramic views, while an aft deck shower serves swimmers and water sports enthusiasts.

Systems and equipment reflect a well-maintained, independently capable boat. Service batteries were replaced in 2022; a Panda 8 kW generator, solar panels, 60-amp charger, and 220V shore power support extended cruising. Navigation includes twin Raymarine E120 chartplotters, autopilot, radar, AIS, and VHF. Anchoring is managed by electric bow and stern winches with remote control and substantial ground tackle. An 8 kW diesel heater, air conditioning, and a washer-dryer combination support year-round comfort. Diesel and water tank capacity totals 1,200 and 600 liters respectively, enabling extended range.
