The 2007 Carver 56 Voyager is a dual-station motor yacht built on a fiberglass hull with twin Volvo D12 diesel engines rated at 675 horsepower each. The boat cruises at 19 knots and reaches a top speed of nearly 30 knots. The 2007 model year brought significant refinements over earlier 56 Voyagers, including a redesigned bow with increased freeboard, larger portlights along both sides for natural light, and updated saloon and pilothouse layouts. Dual Raymarine navigation systems outfit the pilothouse and fly bridge, with a 40-inch smart television in the saloon and leather seating throughout.
The accommodations span three staterooms and two heads. The master suite features a queen berth with interspring mattress, ensuite split head, abundant drawer storage, and cedar-lined hanging lockers. A washer and dryer are located within the master cabin. The forward VIP stateroom holds a centerline queen berth, while a third cabin offers twin bunks and a Pullman berth or can serve as a study area. A large forward head with full-size separate shower and generous vanity serves the guest cabins. The galley features substantial counter space, four large refrigerator and freezer drawers, a full-size microwave, three-burner induction cooktop, and trash compactor.
Recent maintenance includes new batteries installed in February 2023, a bottom job with Prop Speed applied in April 2023, and a rebuild of both turbochargers. A new Isinglass enclosure and replaced bridge deck and cockpit carpeting were completed in March 2022. A davit and Walker Bay RIB tender with 20-horsepower Yamaha engine are included. The hull was waxed and buffed in March 2024.
