This 2007 Catana 50 is a 50-foot composite catamaran powered by twin Volvo diesel engines producing 150 horsepower each. The boat's beam of 26 feet provides excellent stability and interior space typical of the design. The yacht has been comprehensively refitted and is configured for extended cruising.
The accommodations include four cabins in a family layout, with recent upgrades throughout. The galley features an induction cooktop, oven, refrigerator, freezer, and Corian countertops finished with real oak flooring. Four heads serve the vessel, each with updated fixtures, vanities, and Sanimarintoilets. Interior lighting is entirely LED, with USB ports and electrical outlets distributed throughout. Foam mattresses in the cabins were renewed, and a washing machine is installed.
The mechanical and systems work is extensive. Both engines and the generator underwent full service and overhaul in 2025, with new control cables and tachometers. Fuel capacity totals 860 liters across two tanks. A Schenker watermaker produces 150 liters per hour. Power comes from 2,050 watts of solar panels, a 1,500-amp-hour service battery bank, and Victron inverter-chargers. Navigation electronics include dual Garmin multifunction displays, a 12-inch chartplotter, Garmin Reactor 40 autopilot, digital radar, wind instruments, and a Starlink antenna. A carbon-fiber boarding ladder and Quick windlass with fresh controls complete the deck systems.
The rig includes a Square Top mainsail, Code 0 with a dedicated stowage system, and Solent and jib sails. Recent work includes new starboard upper shrouds, port lower shrouds, boom vangs, and comprehensive bearing and winch maintenance. The hull features new cabin portholes, plexiglass windows, and moonlight cabin panels. A 3.4-meter Hypalon tender with 15-horsepower Yamaha engine is included.
