The Contest 45CS is a 45-foot cruising sailboat designed by Georg Nissen and built using vacuum infusion techniques for a strong fiberglass hull. Powered by a single 75 hp Yanmar diesel engine, she combines seaworthy construction with comfortable cruising capability. The interior, designed by Birgit Schnaase, provides a spacious and welcoming layout for extended time at sea.
Recent upgrades have included a refitted teak deck and a new suit of sails with Code 0. The boat is equipped with a generator, hydraulic furling sails, electric winches, and air conditioning in the owner's cabin, along with davits and other systems suited to extended cruising. These features support comfortable and convenient operation whether under sail or power.
