The 2007 DeFever 56 is a fiberglass motor yacht built with the distinctive design hallmarks the builder is known for: a high bow, Portuguese bridge, and classic lines. Twin Caterpillar C7 diesel engines rated at 420 horsepower each deliver a cruising speed of 10 knots, with dual helm stations—one in the pilothouse and one on the flybridge—both fitted with twin Timezero navigation displays and radar. The boat carries 1,320 gallons of fuel capacity across four tanks and is equipped with two diesel generators, a freshwater maker, and substantial battery and inverter systems for extended cruising.

Accommodation spans three cabins and three heads. The master stateroom features a king-size walk-around berth with custom mattress, teak nightstands, a walk-in closet, and an ensuite head with shower. The forward VIP cabin holds a queen-size berth with teak bookshelves and hanging lockers, while the guest cabin provides twin upper and lower single berths. A third head serves the galley area, and a stackable washer and dryer are installed adjacent to the guest cabin. The galley is finished throughout with teak cabinetry, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances including Sub-Zero freezer drawers, a dishwasher, garbage compactor, three-burner Force-Ten stove, and an ice maker.

The pilothouse features a 10-foot teak settee, leather helm seats, and extensive teak joinery throughout. The flybridge is topped with a hardtop and includes a wet bar, propane barbecue, additional teak seating, and a 1,000-pound hydraulic davit. The salon contains teak and holly sole flooring, a flat-screen television, custom teak dinette, and a central vacuum system. Throughout the boat, teak and holly flooring, LED lighting, and stainless opening ports provide consistent finish and function.

Notable recent updates include a 2022 Victron Multiplus inverter/charger and replaced Strata-glass on the flybridge. The boat is equipped with five marine air conditioning units, a hot and cold transom shower, and extensive deck hardware including a dual anchor windlass, Portuguese bridge with vented lockers, and stainless pulpit railings. A 12-foot Highfield center console dinghy with 25-horsepower Suzuki outboard and life raft are included.
