This 2007 Duffy 22 is an electric-powered cuddy cabin built with hand-laminated fiberglass. The hull features white gelcoat, antifouling bottom paint, and molded-in plank lines, with vinyl sheer and waterline stripes. The deck is finished in non-skid white fiberglass and equipped with four stainless steel cleats at bow and stern, mooring hardware, and deck vents. The boat has been refitted with a new bottom and fresh spray polyurethane paint on the topsides.
The electric propulsion system runs on a 48-volt DC motor paired with sixteen 6-volt deep-cycle batteries, managed by a solid-state controller and Victron multiplus charger. The patented Duffy rudder-drive system uses a weedless composite propeller. The boat cruises at 4 knots with a top speed of 5 knots, and recharges via a 120-volt smart charger with 50-foot power cord.
The single cabin layout includes a forward berth area with cushions, an aft cabin space, and two movable teak wood tables. Storage runs throughout, with a wood cabinet and drawer on the portside, a bottle locker, and an insulated 70-quart ice box. A 2000-watt inverter provides a 120-volt outlet. The Sunbrella surrey top with stainless steel frame and vinyl seat cushions offer weather protection and comfort for day cruising.
