The Elling E3 is a 45-foot Dutch-built cruiser designed to CE Category A standards for ocean passages. Its fiberglass hull features a self-righting design with full 180-degree positive stability, delivering safe and seaworthy performance. Power comes from a single 425-horsepower Cummins diesel engine, with bow and stern thrusters for precise maneuvering. The yacht cruises comfortably at 6.5 knots with a maximum speed of just under 14 knots.
Below deck, the E3 offers three staterooms and two heads, along with a spacious salon and well-equipped galley. The galley includes a dishwasher and microwave. Climate control is provided by an air conditioning and heating system, and a generator powers onboard systems. An Onan generator, Garmin GPSmap 740S, and Simrad electronics package support navigation and vessel management.
The yacht is outfitted with teak decks and cockpit, a swim platform, cockpit shower, and an electric bilge pump. Shore power inlet and battery charger enable convenient dockside operation. Recent work completed in November 2024 included a full 1,500-hour service on the main engine and generator, followed by a 100-hour service in November 2025. Additional maintenance carried out involved installation of new zincs, PropSpeed application to the propeller and rudder, bottom paint touch-up, cutlass bearing inspection, shaft packing replacement and adjustment, and installation of a new stern thruster. A new Isotherm refrigerator and freezer have also been installed.
