2007 Fountain 38 Sportfish Cruiser OB

The Fountain 38 Sportfish Cruiser Outboard combines cruising comfort with serious fishing capability in a 38-foot fiberglass platform. Twin outboards delivering 900 horsepower reach 59 mph and cruise efficiently at 43 mph, while a single cabin and head provide overnight accommodation. The boat balances day-trip fishing performance with the amenities needed for extended time on the water.

Electronics have been substantially upgraded throughout. The suite includes dual Simrad autopilots with associated controllers, a 16-inch NSO Evo3 chartplotter, open array radar, VHF radio, and Simrad sounder. Navigation and weather are supported by a KVH LTE wifi dome and Simrad weather module. An ACR LED searchlight, quad stainless horns, and multiple new Shakespeare antennas—VHF, FM, and TV—cover communication and lighting needs. A Lewmar bow thruster aids docking, and electronic trim tab indicators are fitted. Audio includes a Boss head unit with Pioneer amplifiers and speakers plus dual 10-inch subwoofers.

The interior has been refreshed with new appliances: Dometic stainless refrigerator, LG stainless microwave, induction cooktop, Dometic air conditioning, and a TV/DVD combo. A Master-Volt 3000/160-amp charger-inverter and Smart Shunt manage power. New Seadeck flooring rounds out the cabin updates. Exterior improvements include new canvas, new upholstery, two captain chairs with stainless pedestals and footrests, new Plasdeck cockpit flooring, and new mooring and cockpit covers. Stainless steel details—transom shower, four-step boarding ladder, steering wheel, anchor chain, and both a Bruce anchor and original spare—are new or original. The windlass has been recently overhauled. Recent bottom paint and silver metallic Awlgrip hull paint complete the exterior.
