This 2007 Fountaine Pajot Mahe 36 is a composite catamaran built for cruising comfort and practical performance. The 36-foot hull spans nearly 20 feet in beam, providing the spacious platform that defines this design. Two Volvo Penta D1-30 diesel engines deliver 60 horsepower each and have been substantially reworked: the complete overhaul was finished in November 2025, engine mounts were replaced, saildrive strapping was redone, and three-bladed propellers were fitted. Current engine hours stand at 1,500.
The interior arranges three cabins and one head across the twin hulls. Two cabins feature queen-size berths while the third offers a standard double. The galley includes a three-burner gas stove, gas oven, two-compartment refrigerator, 220-volt electric cooler, and a 60-liter-per-hour watermaker. Water capacity is 600 liters; fuel tank holds 300 liters.
Power systems have been upgraded substantially. Four Victron Lithium 12.8V 100Ah batteries serve house and engine starting needs, supported by four 900-watt solar panels, a Silentwind 400+ wind turbine, a 3000-watt Victron converter, and dual chargers for battery and shore power. Navigation equipment includes Garmin control panel and screen, GMR Fantom radar, fixed and portable VHF, iPad Air with navigation apps, Raymarine ST6002 autopilot, and Raymarine Tridata. Sails are a Delta-Voile mainsail and Facnor furling genoa, both serviced in 2025, with lazy bag completed in 2024. A Spade 20-kilogram anchor with 60 meters of chain and electric windlass complete the ground-tackle setup. A Highfield 2020 dinghy with Mercury 15-horsepower four-stroke engine from 2022 is included.
The catamaran carries outdoor cushions, a black trampoline, outdoor shower, and Magma charcoal barbecue for deck use. A wind vane was fitted in 2023. Rigging was serviced in 2025.
