2007 Hunt Yachts Surfhunter 29

The 2007 Hunt Yachts Surfhunter 29 is a 29-foot express cruiser built on Hunt's Deep V hull form. Powered by a single 315-horsepower Cummins 6CT turbocharged diesel engine with fresh-water cooling, the boat reaches a top speed of 33 knots and cruises at 26 knots. The engine is fully mechanical and has received a recent top-end rebuild. Power is delivered through a Volvo Penta Ocean-X aluminum duo-prop outdrive installed new in 2024, with new counter-rotating stainless steel props. The hull is solid hand-laid E-glass with foam-cored topsides and stringers, finished in Jet Black Awlcraft paint applied in 2024.

The cabin layout follows the classic New England cuddy design, with the forward cabin accessed to port of the helm station. Below decks, the accommodations include a V-berth with filler cushion for two, a full galley to port with a single-burner cooktop, dual-voltage refrigerator, and microwave, and a spacious head to starboard with standing room and a molded shower pan. The cabin interior is finished in white gelcoat with satin-varnished cherry trim and Sunbrella upholstery fabrics. Natural light enters through an overhead hatch with screen and four opening portlights.

The helm station is positioned starboard with excellent visibility and features an Edson wheel, teak instrument cluster, and a logical layout of controls. Electronics installed new in 2024-2025 include a Raymarine Axiom Pro 12s multifunction display, 4kW 24-inch HD radar, P70r autopilot, and an Icom VHF radio. A SidePower electric bow thruster with new motor in 2024 aids maneuvering.

The cockpit is open and self-bailing, with an L-shaped cushioned settee to port, aft-facing seat on the engine box, and transom seats. Amenities include a reinforced bimini top with Stamoid enclosure, a hot and cold transom shower installed new in 2025, and rod holders. Deck hardware includes stainless steel chocks, cleats, and a Simpson Lawrence windlass. The boat carries 150 gallons of fuel capacity, 28 gallons fresh water, and is equipped with a 1800-watt inverter and 30-amp shore power.
