This 2007 Hunter 49 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat designed for comfortable extended voyages and short-handed operation. At nearly 48 feet in length with a 14.75-foot beam, the boat offers substantial interior volume and a layout built for living aboard. The rig emphasizes single-handed handling through its backstayless design and self-tacking headsail options, with all sheets and halyards led to the cockpit for easy management.

The interior centers on a spacious salon and a large galley with a double sink, three-burner Princess stove and oven, refrigerator, freezer, and icemaker. Forward lies a private cabin with its own head and separate shower compartment. The boat carries two additional heads throughout. A sharp Roku television in the salon and flat-screen in the forward berth provide entertainment, along with a Bose sound system and JVC DVD player. The cabin interior features off-white upholstery and includes a washer and dryer.

Deck and cockpit amenities include teak sole, seating, and swim platform, a full canvas enclosure, and a custom cockpit table with compass inlay. The helm stations feature two Lewmar wheels with leather wraps and dual Raymarine chartplotters—a 12-inch unit at the centre cockpit table and a 9-inch unit at the navigation station. Three Raymarine instruments upgraded in 2024 sit at the companionway, alongside an autopilot, wind and speed instruments, radar, and VHF radio. Running rigging was recently upgraded.

The boat runs on a single 75-horsepower diesel engine with a dripless shaft seal and automatic raw-water shutdown. Electrical systems include eight Power Cell batteries, a 12-kilowatt Fisher Panda generator, and both 120V/240V and 50-amp shore power capability. Air conditioning units serve the forward, midship, and aft spaces. An electric windlass and electric cabin-top winches assist with sail handling and anchoring. Deck lighting includes spreader lights, masthead strobe, steaming and running lights, and underwater LED Lumitec fixtures. The boat was used in freshwater.
