The 2007 Island Pilot 395 is a 42-foot fiberglass trawler built for comfortable, extended cruising. Twin Volvo D6 diesel engines with only 1,250 hours deliver 700 horsepower combined, paired with Volvo outdrives that allow shallow-water operation with a draft of just 3'2". The boat cruises efficiently at 9 mph or faster at 25 mph, making it well-suited to varied water conditions.
The flybridge helm station offers panoramic sightlines and features an Axiom Raymarine touchscreen display, radar, auto-pilot, bow thruster, reverse docking camera, and VHF radio. An electric windlass, L-shaped seating, and two bucket seats complete the upper steering station. Below, a lower helm with full instrumentation serves as an auxiliary command center. Wide side walk-around decks and an aft cockpit with sink facilitate deck work and outdoor living.
The interior layout centers on a bright main salon with teak and holly flooring and L-shaped settee with a drop-leaf table that converts to additional sleeping space. A forward galley down features Corian countertops, electric stove and oven, deep stainless steel sink, full-sized refrigerator and freezer, and microwave. The master stateroom holds a queen bed with ample storage, while the head includes a separate shower, marine toilet, and vanity.
Navigation and convenience systems include a Westerbeke generator, auto-pilot, bow thruster, and Starlink connectivity. A dinghy with 15 hp Tohatsu engine and a crane complete the inventory. Headroom throughout measures a minimum of 6'6".
