2007 Jongert 2700M Cutter Deck saloon

This 2007 Jongert 2700M is an aluminum-hulled cutter rigged for serious ocean cruising and performance sailing. Designed by Doug Peterson with naval architecture by Van Oossanen, the yacht features a carbon mast and boom with in-boom furling, a specialized wing keel and elliptic rudder, plus bow and stern thrusters for confident maneuvering. Power comes from a single 257-horsepower Scania diesel engine, delivering a cruising speed of 10 knots with a maximum of 8 knots.

The deck prioritizes safety and usability for a small crew. Two unobstructed steering stations sit forward of a generous seating area with cocktail tables. A fully closable deckhouse with adjustable windows and a convertible table provides shelter in any weather. The in-boom furling mainsail and two hydraulic foresail furlers allow easy handling by two people. Running rigging and foresail sheets are routed underdeck for an unobstructed walkway, while the dinghy stows in a recessed compartment that doubles as tender or storage space. A large bathing platform and aft platform complete the outdoor layout.

Below deck, the pear wood interior balances light tones with a sense of luxury. The floating interior design isolates noise and vibration, while water separators on the engine and generator exhausts keep mechanical noise minimal. The main saloon combines relaxation and dining areas, with the galley and crew quarters positioned forward. The owner's stateroom occupies the stern, alongside two twin guest cabins, each with ensuite bathrooms. The layout accommodates five cabins across four heads.

Recent upgrades for 2026 include new Doyle sails in full Spectra and new running rigging. All technical systems, particularly in the engine room, are designed for straightforward maintenance and access. The yacht is presented in ready-to-sail condition.
