The Lagoon 380 S2 is one of the most widely built cruising catamarans, recognized for its efficient accommodation and practical design. This 2007 fiberglass catamaran measures 37.93 feet in length with a 21.42-foot beam, powered by twin Yanmar 3YM30 diesel engines producing 58 horsepower combined. The hull design places a spacious double berth in each hull, yielding four cabins total, along with two heads and showers.
The main saloon bridges the two hulls and features characteristic Lagoon vertical windows that flood the space with natural light. A galley positioned along the aft bulkhead opens via sliding glass panel to the cockpit, creating flow between interior and exterior. Forward of the galley, a large dining table and settees provide gathering space with wraparound views. The single helm station sits to port on a raised platform, with primary sail controls led aft for short-handed operation. Wide side decks and a generous foredeck support easy handling and anchoring, while the cockpit functions as a comfortable outdoor living area.
The boat carries an aluminum mast and boom with rod kick, Harken two-speed winches, and a mainsail and genoa original to the build. Engine and sail drive services were completed in July 2025, with antifouling also refreshed at that time. Each engine shows 3,600 hours. The rigging and standing components date to 2007 and are in good condition.
Recent updates include new cabin mattresses and hatches with portholes fitted in 2021, refreshed salon upholstery from the same year, and a three-burner Eno oven installed in 2018. An Isotherm 200-liter refrigerator with freezer compartment, complete galley equipment, and full interior furnishings are aboard. A Gala dinghy with Mercury 4 HP outboard is included, along with 900-watt Solbian solar panels and a Raymarine AXIOM chartplotter.
