The Leopard 46 is a fiberglass catamaran built by Robertson & Caine to a design by Morrelli & Melvin. This 46-foot boat spans 24.58 feet across the beam and is powered by twin 150-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines. The four-cabin, four-head layout includes a bright salon, generous cockpit, and well-separated private accommodations suited to both owners and guests.
In 2021, the boat underwent an extensive refit that included new standing and running rigging, a new Evolution square-top mainsail, new Volvo D2-75 engines and saildrives, new RudderCraft rudders, and new cross beam. The hull was sandblasted and given a fresh barrier coat. New salon windows were installed, and a helm dodger was added.
The electrical and energy systems were substantially upgraded with a 1200-ampere-hour lithium battery bank, two Victron 3-kilovolt-ampere inverter-chargers rated at 240 amperes, and a 1600-watt solar array with three Victron MPPT controllers. Navigation and entertainment systems include a Garmin GPSMAP 1222 at the helm, a Garmin GPSMAP 8610 at the nav station, a Standard Horizon VHF with remote microphone, and two Garmin Fusion stereos with new speakers distributed through the helm, cockpit, salon, and foredeck. A Starlink High Performance marine antenna and ASUS wireless router provide connectivity. The boat is equipped and configured for extended cruising.
