This 2007 Luhrs 31 Open is a twin-engine sportfisher built on a fiberglass hull, powered by twin Yanmar 380 hp turbodiesel engines with digital single-lever controls. The boat features a tuna tower with full controls, a raised bridge with complete enclosure, and a large fishing cockpit equipped with tournament amenities including a Birdsall Marine pedestal, Lee outriggers, teaser reels, and Penn downrigger.
The cabin is appointed with teak and holly flooring, a dinette with four bunks, full galley, and stand-up head. Accommodations include air conditioning and heating, an LCD television, and dual stereo. A Maxwell windlass with stainless steel anchor, fresh and raw water washdown systems, and cabin rod storage complete the setup.
Electronics were upgraded in 2024 with Garmin systems installed with redundancy. The air conditioning system was replaced in 2021. The boat receives annual bottom paint and wax, and the isinglass was renewed in 2023. A Northern Lights generator is aboard but currently inoperative. Additional equipment includes a life raft, ACR EPIRB, hand-held VHF radio, Pro Mariner and Pro Nautic battery charger, oil change system, and extra service parts.
