2007 Meridian 580 Pilothouse

The 2007 Meridian 580 Pilothouse is a 59-foot fiberglass motor yacht built as the flagship of the Meridian fleet. Powered by twin Cummins diesel engines delivering 1,270 horsepower, the yacht reaches a maximum speed of 22 knots and cruises comfortably at 10 knots. Trim tabs aid handling in varying sea states. The boat was designed to balance rugged capability with the comfort and livability expected of a luxury cruising yacht.

The pilothouse layout offers commanding visibility and control, with generous interior volume that balances privacy and social spaces throughout. The yacht accommodates two heads and is configured for extended coastal cruising, entertaining guests at anchor, or fishing operations. The interior is thoughtfully arranged for independence during extended passages and exploration of remote anchorages.

Recent maintenance demonstrates comprehensive care. A new house battery bank of eight batteries was installed, along with four new start and thruster batteries. The Walker Bay 450 tender was fully serviced including engine oil and filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, leg oil with new seals, and a new battery. The davit system was professionally serviced, and the bottom was cleaned. Scheduled spring maintenance includes replacement of the port and starboard raw water intake hoses and full service of the engines, gearbox, and generator. All systems are reported to be operating properly. The yacht has been sheltered in a boathouse since 2020.
