2007 Protector Targa 28

This 2007 Protector Targa 28 is a rigid inflatable boat built on a deep-V fiberglass hull with inflatable tubes, designed for capable offshore performance in rough conditions. The twin Mercury Verado outboards, installed in 2017, deliver 500 horsepower combined. The boat has been substantially refitted: the tubes were replaced in 2019, interior cushions renewed in 2024, teak decks serviced and refreshed in 2024, and bottom paint applied in 2025.

The layout includes a single cabin with one head and accommodations below. The hard-top Targa canopy features a forward glass windshield and drop curtains for weather protection. A tow post is fitted for water sports and assistance work.

The boat serves equally well as a commuter, sport boat, or fast response tender. It has been professionally maintained throughout its life and was recently serviced in November 2024. The boat comes with an included trailer.
