The 2007 Tiara 3800 Open is a diesel-powered express cruiser built on a deep V hull with lifting strakes, designed for both offshore fishing and extended cruising. Powered by twin Cummins QSC 8.3 engines delivering 980 horsepower combined, the boat reaches a cruising speed of 26 knots with a maximum speed of 32 knots. An Onan 9 kW generator supports onboard systems, with 2,367 hours on the unit.
The cabin layout includes a queen island berth, convertible portside lounge, and an enclosed head with vacuflush toilet and separate shower. The galley features a two-burner stove, microwave, dual-voltage refrigerator/freezer, and stainless steel sink. Climate control is provided by reverse-cycle marine air conditioning in both the cabin and cockpit, with an additional helm air conditioner. Two flat-screen televisions are installed, and a cockpit refrigerator sits behind the captain's seat.
Navigation and fish-finding electronics are comprehensive: Raymarine Axiom Plus 12 at the helm, Axiom Plus 9 on the tower, Quantum radar, RVX1000 3D CHIRP sonar, ACU-150 actuator control unit, RNS-8 network switch, and autopilot. A Garmin 7616 XSV multifunction display is at the helm. Dual VHF radios are installed at the main helm and tower, with full engine instrumentation at both stations. Outriggers support offshore fishing operations, and the boat includes a Rebel 4 stainless steel direct-drive drum anchor winch, concealed swim ladder, fishbox, storage lockers, electric window vent, and transom door.
Fresh bottom paint was applied in December 2025, and the engines and generator were serviced approximately 30 hours ago.
