2008 Bayliner Discovery 288

This 2008 Bayliner Discovery 288 is a 28-foot fiberglass cruiser built for comfortable coastal cruising. The boat features dual helm stations—a command bridge on the upper level and a lower helm for flexible piloting options. A bow thruster aids maneuvering, and the flybridge and cockpit are enclosed with full canvas. Additional topside features include a windlass, search light, fold-up seating on both sides of the cockpit, a removable table, and snap-in carpets.

Below deck, the single cabin offers a full galley, a large dinette that converts to a second berth, and entertainment options including a TV, DVD, and CD player. The head is fully equipped with a sink and vac-flush toilet. Vinyl flooring throughout mimics teak, and the cabin provides practical living space for extended cruising.

Power comes from a Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI gasoline engine with a Bravo Three outdrive. The engine had logged only 280 hours at the time of listing. In 2022, the risers, manifolds, spark plugs, starter, and impeller were replaced. A new lower unit was installed on the outdrive, along with new batteries and bellows.
