2008 Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 343

The 2008 Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 343 is a coastal cruiser with two cabins and one head, designed by Berret/Racoupeau to deliver substantial interior volume and performance in a compact package. At 35.5 feet overall with an 11.4-foot beam, the boat combines a slender profile with generous living space. The hull features a fin keel with bulb and spade rudder, drawing 4 feet 9 inches in the shoal draft configuration. A Yanmar 3YM30 diesel engine with 1,050 hours powers the boat.

The rigging is set up as a fractional sloop with a Neil Pride mainsail and 140 percent genoa, both equipped with two reef points and reef line systems. The boat carries new sails and Stack Pack installed in spring 2021. The standing rigging was professionally tuned in 2021, and all running rigging is new as of the same year. A Lewmar Capstan windlass and four Lewmar winches, serviced annually, handle ground tackle and sail management. The boat was ordered with the downwind package and includes 230 feet of anchor rode and chain with a 20-pound Danforth anchor.

Recent work includes bottom paint applied fall 2022, a new anchor roller installed 2022, and a new manual Jabsco head fitted in 2023. The electrical system has been upgraded with 400 amp hours of AGM battery capacity installed in 2023, paired with 400 watts of solar power, a battery charger, and system monitor. A 3000-watt pure sine wave inverter supports 12-volt systems. Navigation and autopilot equipment includes new Garmin wind instruments, chartplotter, and stereo, with a Raymarine autopilot installed in 2023. Interior and navigation lighting has been converted to LED throughout. The galley features a Force10 range serviced in 2023, and the boat carries Dometic air conditioning and heating with shore power charging capability. The bilge remains dry with no leaks reported.
