2008 Boston Whaler 285 Conquest

This 2008 express cruiser is powered by twin Yamaha F300 outboards delivering 300 horsepower each, with approximately 200 hours on the engines and factory warranty coverage through 2029. The 28-foot fiberglass hull measures 9.8 feet across the beam, built for offshore capability and extended cruising.

The boat features a lithium battery system with 942 amp-hours total capacity paired with a Victron inverter for running AC systems without generator dependence; a portable Honda generator is also included. Electronics include a new Garmin 8612xsv 12-inch GPS/chartplotter with integrated fishfinder, Fusion stereo system with amplifier, and Wet Sounds speakers and subwoofers throughout. Underwater and interior lighting has been updated to Lumitec Spectrum and 3-color systems.

Accommodations include an upgraded air conditioning system, electric head, microwave, and refrigerator with both 12-volt and 120-volt capability. The freshwater tank has been enlarged to 30 gallons. A tri-axle trailer with three 6,000-pound axles, new tires, brakes, and hardware is included.

Mechanical systems have been recently serviced or replaced: the hydraulic steering was upgraded, the electric windlass received a new motor, a new stainless steel anchor with chain and 200 feet of line is aboard, and the bilge pump is new. Dual starting batteries and a house battery with updated charger complete the electrical package.
